The Brennan Rooney Appeal is a fund set up to aid Wildcats stand-off Jamie Rooney's son Brennan, who has Cerebral Palsy.

To help Brennan's condition improve, Jamie and his family are hoping to take him to Poland, where he can receive specialist treatment. Brennan may have to visit Poland on a number of occasions, so there is still a considerable amount of money that needs to be raised.

In attempt to raise these funds, there are some events coming up soon. To date these are what they have planned:

  • 24th May 07: Curry Night with comedian and auction.
  • 13th June 07: Race Night
  • 27th July 07: Sportsman's Dinner (and various items to auction, e.g. Ricky Hatton gloves, a David Beckham signed shirt etc)
They are also hoping to arrange a Ladies Night possibly in September, that will be held at the Wildcats ground.

If you require any information or further details contact:
John Allott on 07946683621 or Martin Sowerby on 07980866148, who are helping Jamie organise these events!
