The Charity
The Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust Charity has been set up in order to help and benefit the general public in the Yorkshire area. The charity aims to promote Community participation in Sport by providing facilities in order to play Rugby League and other sports which are seen to improve the health of the general public. The Community Trust Charity aims also to provide facilities for Sport and other recreational events for people who need these facilities because of their age, youth, social or economic circumstances or for the general public with the aim of improving social welfare and to improve the Conditions of life in the Community. The Charity also aims to improve and develop the education of children and young people through the work carried out in the Community.
Aims and Objectives •To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing activities for the playing of all sports and activities capable of improving health. •To provide and assist in providing facilities for sport, recreation or other leisure time occupation of such persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in their interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life
