Neil Fox Statue

posted on 17 May 2010

A bucket collection will commence pre match and during the half time interval in support of the Neil Fox Statue.

Neil represented both Wakefield Trinity (Wildcats) and Bradford Northern (Bulls) during his glittering career. The statue will be constructed in honour of the incredible career that Neil achieved, cumulating in a World Record for most points scored in Rugby League.

Neil amassed 6,220 points and just to put that into prospective, two of the biggest scoring players in the Super League era are Sean Long and Andy Farrell. Farrell recorded 2,905 points in his rugby league career and Sean Long has amassed approximately 2,500 points. Together these two point machines (5,405) don’t come near to the World Record held by Neil Fox MBE.

We are asking fans from both clubs to show their support for this fantastic project.
