Brave Academy push the Wolves

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Under 18s were beaten 38-22 by Warrington Wolves in a Valvoline Academy second phase game at Belle Vue last night (Thursday).

At one stage in a battling first-half display the Wildcats had led 12-6 with tries by scrum half Nathan Conroy (14 minutes) and hooker Nathan Smith (23 minutes) both of which were converted by centre Jordan Grayston.

But the Wolves, who had gone in at halftime leading 18-12, built on their advantage in the second half while the Wildcats added a third try from Buttery in the 65th minute and Grayston converted.
