Combined Services Women take on France at the Hearwell Stadium

The Combined Services Women’s Rugby League side take on France at the Hearwell Stadium, Wakefield on Wednesday July 7 (kick off 6pm).

The Combined Services team includes 13 representatives from the Army for a game which forms a vital part of France’s preparation for their Test Match against England this weekend at Lilleshaw.

Combined Services Team Manager Vickie Dillon-Davies said: “It’s a real privilege to have been chosen to play the French team as part of their preparations for the clash with England this weekend.

“We’re aiming to put a good performance in and hopefully get a result as we build towards our own game against England in Aldershot on August 21.”

Two of the Combined Services team, Kim Field and Sarah Roper are also part of the England Talent Development Squad.

Admission is just £4 for adults and £2 for concessions with admission fees going to charity.
