Girls Rugby Presentation

Thursday Evening saw the first ever Girls Rugby Presentation held at Belle Vue Stadium for the Outwood Girls Academy.

After enjoying a DVD showing highlights of their season, the girls were each invited onto the stage one by one and were handed their award by 1st Team star Damien Blanch.

The presentation evening proved to be a great success, seeing Lilybeth Keddie winning the most improved player, Lauren Birch receiving coach’s player and Amber Yates gaining the most votes for player’s player.

Kathryn Jones, women and girls development officer at the Wildcats said “the academy has grown week upon week and has been a pleasure to be apart of. I would like to say Thank you to; the girls and their parents for showing their support, Outwood Grange for their fantastic facilities and Sport England who have and will continue to fund the project”
