Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have named their 19-man squad for Sunday’s Engage Super League Round 23 game against last year’s beaten Grand Finalists St Helens at Belle Vue on Sunday (Kick off 3.30pm).
In line for his Super League debut is talented 20-year-old halfback Matty Wildie, who has been great for the club’s reserve team this year.
Neither of the recognised first team full-backs will be available because both Matt Blaymire and Aaron Murphy still undergoing treatment while utility ace Paul Johnson has also been ruled out.
On the credit side cleared to play after spells on the injury list are halfback or hooker Sam Obst and back row forward Danny Kirmond.
Included in the 19 besides Wildie are prop forward Ben Gledhill and utility player Kieran Hyde.
