Curran leaves the Wildcats

Ed Curran, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Commercial Manager for the last five years leaves the club after five years in post next week.

Welshman Ed is to take up a new job with British Universities and Colleges Sport in London.

Ed came to the Wildcats from the Welsh Rugby Union have been a student at Leeds University.

He said: “I’m sad to be leaving the Wildcats where I’ve been very happy. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster ride at times but it’s been a great place to work. I shall be taking some great memories forward with me into the future.

“IThe club has certainly come a long way during my time both on and off the field.

“And now it’s a really exciting time for the Wildcats because so many good things are happening at the club both on and off the field of play.”

Diane Maskill, the Wildcats’ Managing Director, said: “We are sorry to lose Ed who has been a great servant to the Wildcats.

“But we wish him every good fortune with what ever he seeks to do in the future and we look forward to seeing him at Belle Vue if he ever has the opportunity to pop back in and see us.”

The Wildcats are currently advertising for a replacement Commercial Manager
