The junior academy side were in form at Belle Vue on Saturday afternoon led by Jordan Grayston who scored 16 of the Wildcats 20 points with a hat trick of tries and 2 goals.

Grayston started the scoring with a try on 8 minutes but failed with the conversion. The Bulls hit back 4 minutes later with a John Bateman try converted by Danny Softly giving the Bulls a 4 points to 6 lead which lasted until the 18th minute when Grayston crossed for his second of the afternoon converting his own try, with a 10 – 6 lead the Wildcats were never again in the points for the remainder of the afternoon.
On the 30th minute Josh Murphy crossed for the Wildcats, Grayston again converted and the home side took the 16 point to 6 lead into half time.
Although the Wildcats had excellent pressure on the line the Bulls defence held and Bradford managed to score the first try of the half in the 70th minute to Ady Raw which Softly converted to narrow the scores to 16 -12.
An anxious end to the game saw both teams pressuring the try line but Grayston crossed on the final whistle for his hat – trick to make the final score 20 points to 12 to the home team.
