Back-row forward Dale Ferguson, who has not played since the Wildcats’ Round 17 defeat at Wigan Warriors, is in with a chance of making a comeback after undergoing surgery for a hernia in Sunday’s Engage Super League Round 25 game against Warrington Wolves at Belle Vue (Kick off 3.30pm).

Dale has been included in the Wildcats 19-man squad named for the game by Head Coach John Kear. Also back in the running for a first team place again after being injured in the Round 22 defeat at Castleford Tigers and he too is included in the squad.

Both Paul Cooke (knee) and Paul King (ankle) are also included in the squad after missing the last game at Huddersfield Giants through injury.

Out of the running though is centre or wing Sean Gleeson who was ill at the start of the week and unable to train.

The Wakefield Trinity 19-man squad is: Blanch, Millard, Jeffries, Korkidas, Ferguson, Morrison, Demetriou, Obst, Johnson, Henderson, Murphy, King, Leo-Latu, Cooke, Moore, Kirmond, Hyde, Leaeno, Rinaldi.
