The Wildcats have set their stall out for a victory by announcing a very strong squad for the Carnegie 9′s which takes place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium tomorrow night.
The suqad includes a whole host of first team regulars including several current international players. Fans favourites such as Sam Obst, Richard Moore and Tevita Leo-Latu are all included alongside youngsters Keiron Hyde, Gareth Potts and Lee Brickwood. Potts will also be representing the Wildcats in the Rugby Leagues Fastest Man competition where members of the competing teams battle it out in a 100m sprit to be crown the fastest man in Rugby League.
The Wildcats will line up against local rivals Leeds Rhinos and international side Wales in the pool stages. To win the competition and the £10,000 on offer to the champions Wakefield will be competing against: Wales; Leeds Rhinos; Wigan Warriors; Jamaica RL; Warrington Wolves; Halifax RLFC; St Helens; Castleford Tigers; Bradford Bulls; Scotland; and last years winners Hull FC.
