The NHS Trust is encouraging as many people as possible to hold events in support of wellbeing month.
October has been chosen as it includes world mental health day on the 10th; which is celebrated around the world both on the day and in the weeks surrounding it. To help mark wellbeing month the NHS are asking you to hold an event that supports mental or physical wellbeing.
During wellbeing month there will be activities led by the Trust, throughout the areas of Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield. The aim is to get people who use our services, our members, staff and the general public involved in activities and events that boost wellbeing. The Trust will be holding a few events but we hope that services and organisations in our local communities will join with us by hosting their own events.
