Wildcats visit Pinderfields Children Ward.

posted on 23 September 2010

Yesterday afternoon the Wildcats paid a visit to the children at, local hospital, Pinderfields.

The clubs 2010 Players’ Player of the Year, Glenn Morrison, came along with our community team and, of course, Daddy Cool.

The team stopped to talk to all the children and handed out Wildcats gifts to the patients. Daddy Cool’s surprise visit went down well with everyone on the ward and put a lot of smiles on people’s faces.

Richard Cattley, the Wildcats Community Development Officer said, ‘Doing good work in the community is very important to us at the club. It was great to meet the children yesterday and we hope they enjoyed our visit.”

Glenn Morrison added, “I always enjoy the opportunity of being with our community team. Our trip out today was for such a great cause and I am always willing to help in any way I can.”

Everyone at the Wildcats wishes the children well on their road to recovery and hope that we brightened up their day.
