Wakefield Wildcats have a fantastic, new mobile classroom.
This mobile classroom will form part of the Children in Need programme, ‘Give It a Try, Aim High’. The ‘trailor’ is fully kitted out with desks, laptops and the latest technologies to help us deliver classes out and about in the city.
The Children in Need programme aims to provide and increase positive educational activity across the Wakefield District. Wildcats Development Officer, Dan Hardy, will begin delivering lessons from the new Wildcats mobile classroom to different schools in the area next term.
Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust Manager, Davide Longo, commented, “The mobile classroom is part of our Children in Need programme which we were succesfully awarded in July this year.”
“The classroom is not only going around local schools, but will also front all of our ‘Wildcats in the community’ projects that we run here. This is a fantastic development for both The Wildcats and the community.”
“This is The unit looks great and I’m really looking forward to our team beginning their work with it.”
