The Steve Prescott Foundation are proud to announce their latest fundraiser, NetFlight League at War, a boxing event which promises to be a spectacular Evening of Entertainment.
The event will be held on November 27th 2010 at Sutton High Boxing Arena in St Helens.
10 Former great Rugby League Players will take part in 5 Bouts that will enhance and dispel reputations that were created on the rugby field.
The Headline Bout undoubtedly is between the face of Rugby League Paul Sculthorpe and former British Marine Champion & ex GB, Bradford prop forward Brian Mc Dermott. The other bouts include Esene Faimolo vs Ian Pickavance, Mick Cassidy vs Richard Fletcher, Bernard Dwyer vs Timmy Street, Paul March vs David March and an exhibition bout between Herol Bomber Graham vs Lee Briers and Paul Wellens.
All bouts will be refereed by the Celtic Warrior Steve Collins who beat Nigel Benn & Chris Eubank in the halcyon days of British Boxing and ended his career unbeaten as the World Middleweight Champion.
This evening is sure to be unmissable with added extras including a swing singer, an opera singer, our very own Wildcat Dolls, a band, a rock DJ and a delicious four course meal.
