Wakefield Wildcats are once again showing their commitment to developing the youth at the club. Head of Youth Development Tony Drury is running shadow sessions with twelve players from the Reserves and Academy teams at the club.
The young players are training full time on a morning at the Wildcats and spending all afternoon enhancing their education at Thornes Park College.
Tony Drury commented: ‘This is an excellent opportunity for the players. It’s a natural pathway and is great transition from their current level up to Super League level. It is another example of the club developing the youth system. We currently have 30 players coming through the system and i’m delighted with the progress they are all making.’
