This week we’ve been on with promoting our Junior Season Tickets which as you will all know by now are available for just £20 up to Christmas! We’ve been to Wrenthorpe, Newton Hill, Kirkhamgate, St Michaels and Freeston High School. If you haven’t gone one yet, make sure it’s on your Christmas list! Tonight (Friday night) Richard is going along to a Fireworks display at Crigglestone All Blacks to promote the Junior Season Tickets – it’s the first promotion we’ve done up there so we’re hoping the boys and girls at Crigglestone snap up the Season Tickets on offer.
We’ve also been to 2 of our favourite schools this week for a full day of the ‘Kick It’ Programme-South Parade and Mackie Hill were visited By Richard and Gavyn and they enjoyed the Interactive Health Assembly and activity sessions.
On Tuesday, Daddy Cool went along to South Ossett Infant School with his new friend Dan from the Maypoles Children Centre. He was helping to promote their new Mascot Competition in the Ossett area, and was excited to show the children of the infant school that he is the coolest mascot around. Daddy Cool is always on hand to help to provide support for the Children Centre and cannot wait for his next Ossett school visit in the next few weeks.
On Thursday, Claire started an After School club at Heathview and had a massive 30 girls turn up! The girls were aged between 8 and 11 years old and they responded well to their introduction to rugby – especially sliding in the mud to score their tries! Hopefully some of these girls might like to join the Wildcats Girls Academy in the future! (pictured below)
We’ve also had 2 girls on Work Experience this week. Hayley from Horbury High School, has been helping out in the Dance Department and Emma Jayne from Leeds Met has been shadowing Claire to help her on her BA Sports Development Course.
All community are working on the Kittens show this weekend – hopefully it will all go to plan and we will be able to show you some great pictures next week!
