Dolls back in Training

posted on 1 November 2010

After taking a few weeks off after their final Summer Events, the Dolls are pleased to be back in training for their next event on the 27th November. The Netflights League at War 2 is being held at Sutton High Boxing Arena St Helens, and the Dolls are looking forward to being involved on the night.

The Dolls first supported the Steve Prescott Foundation back in June 2008, where they performed at the first League at War at the Reebok Stadium. Since then they have joined the foundation at various events all over the country and in 2009 donated the profits of their calendar to the cause.

Secretary of the Steve Prescott Foundation Martin Blondel said “Not only do the Dolls add glamour to any event, they also add great professionalism along with incredible dance routines!”

The Dolls got back together this week for a 2 hour rehearsal, lead by Choreographer Sarah Robinson. Sarah said “ The girls were really glad to be back in the studio working on our new set. July and August were all about training for the Carnegie 9’s, so the dancing part of our job really got pushed to one side! We had a few weeks off over September and October so now we feel refreshed and ready to get back into it.”

The Netflights League at War is the first of the girls Winter Events, coming up the girls will be attending the Wooden Spoon Christmas Lunch at the Queens Hotel Leeds, the Wakefield Christmas Lights switch on, and are also providing the entertainment at a Bar Mitzvah in the New Year.

The Dolls are currently looking for Sponsorship for the 2010 Season, if you are interested in discussing further, please contact Sarah

Tickets are still available for the League at War Evening please contact Martin Blondel on 07971792859.
