After the successful development of the Wildcats U20s and U18’s reserve and academy teams during the 2010 season, the players are back in pre season training this evening to get ready for the 2011 season.
The academy players have had a six week break from club training since the end of the season, with the Reserves having eight weeks off, the players will come back feeling fully physically refreshed and ready to begin pre season training.
Wildcats Head of Youth Development Tony Drury said: ‘I’m looking forward to getting the players back in. All the players will be given pre season programmes and targets to work towards to ensure they are ready for the start of the season. We have strengthened the academy and reserve sides during the off season and I look forward to working with and developing the players to ensure we get the best out of them.’
