Wildcat Girls Academy

posted on 4 November 2010

The Wildcats Girls Rugby Academy have been back in training since Monday 20 September in preparation to participate in RFL rugby festivals held across Yorkshire. They will be playing in their first festival on Saturday 13 November in the format of touch rugby and then look to take part in the contact version of the game.

The girls are seeking more players to join the academy. If you are interested in taking part in girl’s rugby league then Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Rugby League Club would like to invite you to come and join an all girls rugby league club. The sessions run on Mondays, 6-7pm at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS), Wakefield. Training is indoors throughout the winter and moves outdoors in the spring. For more information about the sessions or other opportunities surrounding the women and girls game please contact Clare Marlow, Women & Girls Rugby Development Officer at; claremarlow@wakefieldwildcats.co.uk or call 07999111964.

All abilities and are welcome
