Fans turned out in their hundreds last night to show support for the new stadium and sign as many support statements as possible.
Wakefield Wildcats would like to thank all our fans that came down to Oulton Raiders and are delighted with the 200 signatures that were collected. The players were more than happy to speak to supporters and did all they could to rally support and gather signatures, with Captain Glenn Morrisson making it clear how much the new stadium meant to him and the other players.
With the deadline for the support signatures only 5 days away, we are urging all fans to print off their own support statement to sign. Fans can simply click here to download the form and then return to The Rapid Solicitors Stadium or alternatively drop it in at The Wildcats Superstore on Doncaster Road where there will be a collection point until Wednesday.
Please note, the support statement can be signed by every member of your household including children. Public opinion will help win the battle, the more local signatures we can get the better.
This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
