New Chairman Checks-In to Catalans!

posted on 18 February 2011

Wakefield Wildcats New Chairman Andrew Glover has wasted no time in being involved with the team and has set off on the Wildcats bus to Catalan this morning.

Along with Chief Executive James Elston, Head Coach John Kear, the coaching staff and of course the players, Mr Glover boarded the bus at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium bright and early this morning to make the journey over the border.

The atmosphere was refreshingly positive and there was an air of excitement around the ground. The David Palmer bus was full to the brim with holdalls, equipment, training kit and 18 well behaved players as it pulled off on its way to the airport at 9am today!

The Wildcats take on The Catalans Dragons tomorrow at 6.30pm in Perpignan. The game is set to be as fiery and physical as they come with both teams fighting for a win after losses at Cardiff last week. The team will go out there tomorrow and perform with spirit and determination as always and fight to fly back to England on Sunday with 2 points under their belt.

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
