Wakefield Wildcats would like to thank all the fans that turned out in their numbers at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium yesterday.
The attendance was a vast improvement on last year’s home fixture against Salford, which is a fantastic achievement and a testament to our loyal supporters. The weather unfortunately wasn’t on our side, but fans filled the stadium regardless and it was great to see such a busy ground.
The first week of the new Rugby League Double’s game was a great success with 650 tickets being sold before kick off by The Wildcat Dolls. The first to cross the whitewash for the City Reds was Stefan Ratchford and the first for the Wildcats was Tommy Lee. The 2 £100 winners will be the supporters that had a ticket with the first try scorer for the home side being scrum half, and the first try scorer for the away team being stand off.
Wildcats General Manager Davide Longo was very pleased with the success of the new gaming initiative. “The Rugby League Doubles is a great concept. I am very pleased with the response from the supporters and it was fantastic to see so many people turn up at the game yesterday.”
If you are a winner, please contact Alice Furbisher at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0844 4140665 to claim your prize. Please note, proof of your winning ticket will need to be provided.
