Dolls perform to packed-out theatre

posted on 25 March 2011

Thurdsay night saw the Dolls perform their first ever stage show at the Castleford Phoenix Theatre. Over 200 people bought tickets to see the girls perform a showcase of their work which they perform away from the pitch at Belle Vue stadium.

The girls also performed alongside singer Jodie Alexandra who ‘wowed’ the crowd with her rendition of Rhiannas S&M.  Young singer Megan Boulderson also sang Adeles ‘Make you feel my Love’ while the Dolls performed a contemporary Jazz piece.

A favourite part of the show for the girls was their performances with their ‘mini-me’s’.    The hour and a half long show was a great achievement for the girls as they only started choreographing the show 2 months ago.

Choreographer Sarah said: “I am so proud of the girls for the hardwork they have put in over the past 2 months.  The feedback we have had from those who were in the audience has been phenomenal.  This first show was just a trial, so now we know we can do it we are looking to put on a 2 night show in the Summer which we are confident we can sell out both nights.”
