Higgins joins The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats!

posted on 31 March 2011

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are delighted to announce that Liam Higgins has joined the club until the end of the 2012 season.

27 year old Liam started his career at Hull  FC, coming through the academy and into the first-team. He initially signed a two-year deal with Castleford Tigers in 2006, though he stayed until 2010, making over 100 appearances for the team. The British Prop Forward then moved to Sheffield Eagles for the 2011 season and has now secured his place here at The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

The strong forward will make a great addition to the Wildcats side and will add key strength in depth for the upcoming season.

Wildcats Head Coach John Kear said, “I’m thrilled to welcome Liam to the Club. He is a player that we tried to sign in the off season and I’m delighted that he is with us now.”

“He is a strong, powerful prop forward and I look forward to seeing him in action for Wakefield.”

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
