Wakefield Wildcats are delighted to announce that they have extended their partnership with leading leisure club Total Fitness.
The club has worked with Total Fitness over a number of years, with the players using the facilities on a regular basis for different areas of their training schedule. The players often start their day with a swim in the pool or a fitness and weights session later on and after a weekend fixture the players will head to Total Fitness for rehab.
Total Fitness’ high quality facilities include a 25 metre swimming pool, a hydrotherapy pool, a large fully equipped gymnasium and a free weights area. The club is a family friendly establishment and has a wide range of family activities on offer.
On Monday morning whilst the players were in the gym after their tough game on Sunday, first team stars Michael Korkidas, Glenn Morrison and Julien Rinaldi took a moment to be photographed with the Manager of Total Fitness Wakefield, Gareth Scargill, Receptionist Marie Widdrington and Wildcats Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins.
Club Manager Gareth Scargill said, “We are delighted to renew our relationship with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for another season. The linking of Wakefield’s two most recognisable clubs is of great benefit to both parties and we are delighted to welcome the players and staff to our facilities on a regular basis to aid their progress in Super League this season.”
Wildcats Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins added, “I am really pleased to welcome Gareth and his team for another year here at The Wildcats. Total Fitness provides a key facility for the strength and conditioning of our players and I look forward to working together in 2011.”
This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
