Wildie looks ahead to Saturday against the Bulls

posted on 2 March 2011

The reserves clash with Bradford this weekend is defintely going ahead at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium on Saturday.

The team take on the Bradford reserves at 2.30pm and will be fighting to make it two wins on the trot after a fantastic 56-14 victory over Salford last week.

Matthew Wildie played a key part in the game and can’t wait to play again this weekend if selected. The young utility back has found his form and really hit the ground running this season. He is excelling in the reserves team and after a few first team appearances he is now determined to progress to the next level.

The reserves result last week was a brilliant start to their season, “It was such a great feeling to go out there on our first game and perform like we did and come away with a result like that” Matty told us.

“To claim a victory over a team that had beat Saint Helens just the week before was a positive start and something that we hope to build upon for this weekend. Bradford are a good, strong pack and it will be a tough ask but we will concentrate on building on last week’s performace and hopefully getting another 2 points.”

The game kicks off at 2.30pm on Saturday 5th March at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium. Come down and watch the future of the club for just £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. Tickets are available to purchase in The Wildcats Superstore on Doncaster Road or by calling 0844 4140665.
