Cadbury’s winner gives chocolate to charity!

posted on 19 April 2011

Competition winner Joanne Wood has donated a prize she received last week to two very good causes.

Jo Wood and her family were the lucky winners of a years supply of Cadbury’s Dairy Milk at the Harlequins game two weeks ago. They came down to The Rapid Solicitors Stadium last week to collect their chocolate and were photographed with Wildcats General Manager Davide Longo.

Our generous sponsors, Cadbury’s, have today found out that Mrs Wood has decided not to keep the chocolate and has donated it to The Childrens Ward at Pinderfields Hospital and The Leon Walker Charity Fund.

As a thank you for Joanne’s act of kindness and generosity, Cadbury’s have provided Joanne and her family with a family ticket to visit Cadbury World in Bourneville!

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins said, “It’s great to see that Joanne, one of our supporters, is thinking of others and donating the chocolate to two such worthy causes. I would like to thank our sponsors Cadbury’s for recognising this act of kindness and I hope Jo and her family enjoy their day out!”
