Squad Announced to face Saints

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Head Coach John Kear has announced his squad that he will be taking to Widnes on Friday night to face Saint Helens.

John KearClub Captain Glenn Morrison is to miss this fixture due to a dead leg that he sustained earlier in the week. The Aussie skipper will be set to return next week and will be fit for the Wildcats busy Easter schedule. Prop Forward Michael Korkidas and centre Aaron Murphy are both ruled out for a second week running due to injuries picked up in the Huddersfield game.

Paul King is named in the squad and will undergo a fitness test on Friday prior to setting off to  the game that will decifer whether he will be in the 17 man line up. Kevin Henderson will be returning from injury after coming through training this week with no problems. Ben Jeffries, Julien Rinaldi and Tommy Lee are all named in the squad again and loan signings Kyle Amor and Tyrone McCarthy are also featured in the line up.

The team will be hoping to build on last weeks 52 point victory over Harlequins and leave with another 2 points in the bag. Kick off is at 8pm at The Stobart Stadium in Widnes. Tickets are available from the Wildcats Superstore until 4pm on Thursday.
