Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are delighted to announce yet another new addition to their 2011 squad.
The Wildcats have today captured the signature of scrum-half Gareth Moore. The 21 year old has joined Wakefield from Championship Club Batley Bulldogs on a 2 year deal.
Gareth has been at Batley for a year and a half now. Originally signing at The Leeds Rhinos, Gareth spent loan spells at both Halifax and York before and then joined the Bulldogs. The young halfback, who has been named as ‘Young Player of the Year’ played in the victorious Batley side in the Northern Rail Cup Final and has represented Scotland in 2009.
Chief Executive James Elston is thrilled with the new signing, “We’re delighted to welcome Gareth on board. He will add creativity and strength in depth to our current squad. He is an exciting young prospect and I look forward to seeing him in action for Wakefield.”
Gareth added, “I’m really excited about my new opportunity here at Wakefield. I’m looking forward to working full time and proving myself at Super League level.”
“I can’t wait to meet everyone and get on the pitch with the team.”
This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
