Squad Announced for Saturday’s Cup Clash

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Head Coach John Kear has announced his squad that will face the Castleford Tigers on Saturday in the fifthe round of the Challenge Cup.

John KearDale Morton has remained in the line up after an impressive return from injury scoring 3 tries in 2 matches. First team regulars Julien Rinaldi, Matthew Wildie and Paul Johnson are all named in the squad with the inclusion of  impressive youngster Matthew Wildie.

Chris Dean is to miss the fixture due a wrist injury he sustained in last weeks game against Crusaders and winger Luke George is ruled out of action for a further week due to a hip flexor strain that he picked up two weeks ago. Liam Higgins, Tyrone McCarthy and Gareth Moore are all cup tied and will therefore not feature in this week’s fifth round tie.
