Wakefield Trinity Wildcats would like to congratulate two members of the Wakefield Wildcats Girls Rugby Academy for being selected for the RFL service area. This service area is the first step stage on the Player Development pathway and follows a nine week programme whereby those lucky enough to be selected will participate in three intra playing opportunities and six training sessions. The girls will train and play alongside those nominated from Wakefield, Castleford and South Yorkshire.
Clare Marlow, Women and Girls Rugby Development Officer at Wakefield Wildcats says ‘this will be a great opportunity for the girls to develop their technical skills, tactical awareness and movement skills within a talent development environment – I hope they enjoy it’
