The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have enjoyed a fantastic increase in audience figures so far this season.
Despite the struggling economy and a decrease in attendance at some Rugby League clubs, The Wildcats have seen larger crowds this year and the positive atmosphere at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium has never been so infectious.
Near on 8,000 supporters turned up to watch the Wildcats against Hull FC on Sunday, a figure that is nearly 3,000 more than the same fixture in the previous year. The club were a massive 47% up on attendance at the same game last season, with a crowd that nearly filled the stadium.
Overall, The Wildcats attendances are up by a brilliant 9% so far this season. The club have had 9 home games so far this season and have had a larger crowd than the previous year at an amazing 6 of those fixtures. The Club have recorded near sell out crowds at The Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors fixtures with the highly anticipated Castleford derby yet to come.
Everyone at The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats would like to sincerely thank all our loyal fans for their valued, continued support. This is a fantastic achievement for not only the Club, but for the sport and the RFL also.
The next home game at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium is on Sunday 10th July against Saint Helens and Silver Members can purchase a ticket for just £18. Show your support and let’s see another sea of red, white and blue on show!
