Dance with Daddy Cool World Record Breaker!

posted on 18 June 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are on a mission to break a Guiness World Record for the Largest Remote Dance Class!

Dance Development Officer Jodie Travis has been working tirelessy to recruit 800 people to ‘Dance with Daddy Cool’ and help break the record before our game against Hull FC next Sunday at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

Next week is the final week to get all participants signed up and The Wildcats will be giving the project a great big push to snap up our final few dancers. Jodie has been visiting schools in Wakefield throughout the past few weeks and has already taken Daddy Cool to 20 schools in the area and still has 6 to visit next week.

A whopping 500 plus children are already involved but we still need to work hard to reach the 800 target to beat the world record. The Wildcats are urging all supporters to join in the fun and call into The Wildcats Superstore to pick up a form and sign themselves up.

Jodie commented, “The children of Wakefield have really enjoyed having Daddy Cool in their schools and the response we have had has been amazing. We have well over 500 children signed up so far, but we still have a long way to go in the next week – so get yourselves signed up and help us break this record!”

Be a part of the World Record Breaker and shake your stuff on the pitch next Sunday!

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
