JK keen for consistency!

The boys have boarded the bus and are now on their way down South for their clash against Harlequins RL tomorrow.

The first team will take on the London side at The Twickenham Stoop at 3pm in a game that will see The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats over take The Harlequins if they claim the two points.

Wildcats Head Coach John Kear is fully aware of the challenge ahead and confident that his men can bring home the victory. “This is a very important game, everyone knows that if we win we will go above them. We then back it up with the two Hull games so we really need our strongest team available.”

The win last week against Huddersfield Giants came as a great delight to John, “The lads were very good last week, it was generally acknowledged by everyone who came to the game that they put in a hard working, smart performance. I’ve said my well dones but now we are focused on this week’s challenge.”

Kear understands that Harlequins are a side not to be taken lightly despite their recent run of back to back defeats, “Harlequins a very good side, they will have been heartened by the signing of Kyle Briggs who is a good creative player with a great kicking game. They have plenty of pace on the edges and they can put up a very good battle.”

“We have to be at our best and I’m sure we will be. Every game Harlequins are getting one game closer to a win, let’s just hope it’s not tomorrow.”

John is eager for his side to continue their good form, “It’s all about performances, we need to play well and it needs to be a similar performance to last week.”

The team take on Harlequins at 3pm tomorrow and will be eager to make it two in a row and leave with the two points. Full match commentary will be available from Yorkshire Radio. Listen live on DAB radio, Sky Channel 0209 and online at www.yorkshireradio.net.
