Wildcats claim 2nd place in RL 9′s!

posted on 23 June 2011

The Wildcats are currently sitting second in their Rugby League 9′s league table.

After Wakefield Trinity Wildcat’s impressive three out of three winning streak in the third round of the Rugby League 9′s tournament on Tuesday, the side sit 2nd in the East Region League Table with only Castleford ahead of them.

Victories over Leeds twice, Halifax twice, Bradford, Hull FC and Hull KR have allowed Wakefield to climb to 2nd spot with 14 points in total, having won 7 out of 9 games. Halifax RLFC sit bottom of the table after having lost all 9 of their games so far and Leeds Rhinos sit just behind the Wildcats in third place on 12 points.

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will storm into the fourth round next week which is to be held at The Probiz Coliseum in Castleford. The team will take on Castleford Tigers, Halifax RLFC and Hull KR and will be determined to put in a solid performance that will hopefully see them come away with another 3 victories.
