The Wildcats Kittens, together with Daddy Cool, will be joining in the activities at the Fun Day being organised by Carers Wakefield & District on Saturday June 11th at Sandal Rugby Club between 11am and 3pm.
There’ll be lots of things happening for the kids…and some for the adults as well, a bar and barbeque, craft and gift stalls, and information stands. Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Disabled Supporters Association (WTWDSA) will be there to tell people about two initiatives for match days; Never Watch Alone, a buddying scheme to help supporters with a learning or physical disability, and ‘Cats Eyes, a live commentary service for blind and visually impaired fans.
Next week is National Carers Week, and there are lots of events happening across the Wakefield District. Contact Carers Wakefield on 01924 305544, or look on their website www.carerswakefield.org.uk for more details, or information about caring.”
