Wildcats Set To Be Guiness World Record Holders

posted on 22 June 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are set to be Guiness World Record holders for the Largest Remote Dance Class this Sunday!

Dance Development Officer Jodie Travis has been working tirelessy to recruit 800 people to ‘Dance with Daddy Cool’ and help break the record on the pitch before our game against Hull FC at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

This is the final week to get all participants signed up and The Wildcats will be giving the project a great big push to snap up our final few dancers. Jodie has been visiting schools in Wakefield throughout the past few weeks and has already taken Daddy Cool to over 20 schools in the area.

Over 700 children are signed up to break the record already but we still need to work hard to reach the 800 target. The Wildcats are urging all supporters to join in the fun and call into The Wildcats Superstore to pick up a form and sign themselves up, with under 100 places to go we are well on the way to breaking the record. Sign up and be a part of breaking a Guiness World Record!

Jodie commented, “The children of Wakefield have really enjoyed having Daddy Cool in their schools and the response we have had has been amazing. We have over 700 children signed up so far, but we still have a long way to go this week – so get yourselves signed up and help us break this record!”

Be a part of the World Record Breaker and shake your stuff on the pitch this Sunday! Tickets for the clash against Hull FC are priced at just £15 for Silver Members. Call 01924 211611 or visit the Wildcats Superstore to purchase yours.
