Action Packed Weekend for The Wildcats!

posted on 15 July 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Community and Marketing Team and The Wildcat Dolls have a very busy weekend ahead of them!

The action packed two days will include promotions and performances at Walton Gala, Haydock Park, The Masters Football, Race For Life and The Northern Rail Cup Final.

The Community Team and The Dolls will be attending Walton Gala at the Walton Community Centre on Saturday afternoon to promote the Wildcats versus Crusaders game on Sunday 31st July where New Bounce will be performing live. Wildcats Head Chef, Rick Rudge, will be on hand to cook a delicous hog roast for all the guests to enjoy and the Wildcat Kittens are coming along to lend a hand to the Dolls. First team star Liam Higgins will officially open the event with the help from the Wildcats Mascot, Daddy Cool. A Wildcats stall will be present selling a full range of merchandise including beach towels, t shirts, baseball caps and much more! The Gala starts at 12pm – come along to meet the team and purchase your tickets for the big game with New Bounce on Sunday 31st.

After a busy day at the gala, The Dolls and the team are heading over to Haydock Park where the Scissor Sisters will be performing live. The girls will be helping raise money for The Steve Prescott Foundation. To round the day off with a bang, The Dolls are going to Birmingham to the Capital FM Arena to provide the official entertainment at The Masters Football. The girls have danced at these games on a number of occasions and their impressive performances keep the Masters wanting more!

After a few hours sleep on Saturday night, it’s then up bright and early for The Dolls, The Kittens, the Community Team and The Marketing Team to make their way to Race For Life at Thornes Park College in Wakefield. Sarah Elston and her team are leading the official warm up before the race and The Wildcat Kittens and Dolls will be on hand to help the crowds. The community and marketing team will be running a stall at the race that will have merchandise and tickets on sale for New Bounce and all runners will be reminded that they can attend the game on Sunday 31st against Crusaders for FREE. Good luck to all the ladies that are taking part!

The afternoon will then see the Dolls travel to Blackpool to provide the pre match and half time entertainment at The Northern Rail Cup Final.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our events this weekend and a big good luck to The Wildcat Dolls for all their performances!
