“The amount of interest he received from clubs proves how popular he is set to be and it’s fantastic that we are keeping hold of our own players that have developed and matured here since being young. I wish Lucas all the best at first team level and I’m sure he will be a great asset to the side.”
Lucas added, “I’m really pleased that I am staying at Wakefield. It’s a club that I’ve come through from a young age and I just couldn’t see myself playing for any other team, I’m really looking forward to the next three years here and working hard to be a successful first team player.”
