Wildcats at Society for Deaf Fun Day

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Community Team and Daddy Cool went along to support the Wakefield and District Society for Deaf Peoples Family Fun Day yesterday.

The event which took place at Wakefield Sports Club, College Grove was open to all people who are deaf and/or hard of hearing and their carers/families.

Wildcats Development Officers, Clare Marlow and Richard Cattley, put the children through their paces as they tried their hand at Rugby League. Daddy cool was also there to entertain the children and even joined in the coaching activity!

There were a range of different activity stations available to the attendees with the Wildcats station proving one of the most popular – especially in the glorious sunshine!

Richard Cattley commented, “The kids really enjoyed the session today. They had huge smiles on their faces and were giggling with enjoyment all the way through! We at the Wildcats were honored that we had been asked to take part in such a worthwhile event.”

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
