The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have earned themselves a spot in the final of The Rugby League 9′s tournament this evening.
After winning an impressive 10 out of their 12 games, including a double over Leeds Rhinos and a treble over Halifax RLFC, The Wildcats have claimed top spot in the East Region League Table and have stormed their way in to the final, that is to be held at Headingley Carnegie Stadium tonight.
The Wildcats take on Salford City Reds in our opening qualifier at 6.20pm this evening. The squads throughout the tournament have seen a mixture of reserve and first team players and tonight will see no change. Strong French man Samy Masselot is named in the line up, along with first team stars Chris Dean, Josh Veivers and Josh Griffin. Impressive youngsters Russ Spiers, Kyle Trout and Liam Kaye are all included in the squad.
The squad in full is: Dale Morton, Josh Veivers, Josh Griffin, James Davey, Russ Spiers, Chris Dean, Samy Masselot, Stan Robin, Liam Kaye, Tom Henderson, Kyle Trout, Danny Cowling and Andy Tate.
