Luke George and Greg Johnson paid a visit to local amateur side Eastmoor Dragons last week.
The first team stars lead training sessions with the youngsters and passed on their Rugby League skills and knowledge that they have learnt whilst playing at Super League level.
Alongside the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Community Development Officers, Gavyn Lightowler and Dan Hardy, the first teamers lead the 2 hour programme working on basic passing and evasion drills, moving onto footwork and agility exercises.
The players then rounded off the session by putting all the drills into practice and played a touch rugby competition between all the attendees. Playing alongside Luke and Greg was the highlight of the evening for the future stars and a great night was had by all.
Community Development Officer Gavyn Lightowler said, “It was great to see Luke and Greg get involved and give something back to the community. The young kids really seemed to listen and appreciate the advice that they were being told.”
