Reserves Confident of Play-Off Position!

posted on 1 August 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats Reserves are currently sitting fourth in the Valvoline Cup League Table.

An impressive run of form, with a compelling 28-26 victory over Hull FC in their last fixture at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium, has seen the boys climb up to fourth spot with only Hull FC, Warrington and Wigan ahead of them.

The young guns take on Hull KR at Craven Park next Saturday as they continue their quest to remain in the top 8 and reach the play offs come the end of the season. With a run against Warrington, Leeds and Castleford ahead of them the Wildcats youngsters will be keen to claim more victories to seal their chances of play off glory.

With a game in hand over Hull FC, the Wildcats will propel into third place if a victory is claimed next weekend against the Rovers.

It is fantastic to see the youth of the club thriving in their league and the development of young Wakefield talent will still remain a key priority at the club throughout the next three years in Super League.

Good Luck boys! Keep an eye out on the Wildcats website to see how the team are getting on.
