The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats held their annual Golf Day yesterday at Normanton Golf Club.
The event was a resounding success, with all attendees thoroughly enjoying both the day of golf and the evening’s celebrations at The Rapid Solicitors Stadium.
A whole host of first team players including Tommy Lee, Stuart Howarth and Frankie Mariano, Wildcats staff and official club partners and sponsors took part in the event that was sponsored by local design and print company, PrintForms. The event allowed players and sponsors to spend time together in a relaxed environment and gave everyone involved with the club an opportunity to have fun and meet various different people.
The winning trophy was collected by the ‘PrintForm Bandits’ whose team included Wildcats centre Aaron Murphy. The champions were presented their trophy at the evening dinner by guest speaker Robbie Hunter-Paul and Wildcats Head Coach John Kear.
Wildcats Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins was delighted with the feedback he received throughout the day, “The whole event was a great success with a number of people coming up to me to pass on their positive comments.”
“It was a fantastic day that demonstrated the great club that we have, with both players and sponsors mixing together all day. I would like to thank PrintForms for sponsoring the event, Robbie Hunter-Paul for being a superb guest speaker at our evening meal and Normanton Golf Club for being such great hosts.”
