Wildcats in Full Support of Cycle India 2012

posted on 9 September 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats are in full support of ‘Cycle India 2012′.

Cycle India is a charity bike ride that raises money for UK registered charity HEAL. The charity is commited to providing healthcare, education, shelter and support for needy children in India.

Wildcats supporter, Matthew Glover, is Head of Fundraising for this amazing charity and has dedicated his time, efforts and money to completing ‘Cycle India 2012′ in a quest to generate more money for the worthy cause. Matthew is the brother of Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover and has just signed up for a box in our hospitality suite next season!

Matthew is no stranger to the event, having taken part in 2008 and 2010. Cycle India has become Heal’s single biggest fundraising event having raised £180,000 over the two events, and crucially spreading a lot of happiness to the participants, children at the Heal Village and the people of India.

This year the cycle takes place in the beautiful Kerala from 20th to 30th January 2012. If you would like to show your support for Matthew and the team and help raise money for such a worthy charity, please click here to be taken to Matthew’s JustGiving page.

If you fancy a challenge yourself and are interested in taking part in ‘Cycle India 2012′ please contact Matthew at matthewglover@conservatoryoutlet.co.uk for more information.

The Wildcats would like to wish Matthew and the team the very best of luck and we hope that we can help him in on his way to reaching the fundraising target!

This is Wakefield. Together We Are Stronger.
