Daddy Cool attends Academy Celebration

posted on 4 October 2011

The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats attended a Celebration Ceremony at a local Wakefield Primary School last Friday afternoon.

Jerry Clay Lane Primary spent the afternoon celebrating the news that they are now an Academy School.

The Wildcats very own Mascot Daddy Cool officially opened the event along with members of the Community Team. As well as being on hand to entertain all the children and guests, Daddy Cool released a sky full of baloons to mark the occasion and officially begin the celebrations.

Wildcats Dance Development Officer Jodie Travis, who was in attendance on Friday afternoon, commented, “It was a fantastic occasion and it was great that The Wildcats could be a part in celebrating the schools good news.”

“We were very lucky with the weather and the sun stayed shining for us all afternoon! All the children loved seeing Daddy Cool and a great afternoon was had by all.”

If you would like the Wildcats and Daddy Cool to attend your event or school then please contact the Community Team on 01924 211611.
