Official recruitment partners m2r Ltd have been spreading the word of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in the Middle East recently with a framed Wildcats shirt now pride of place in the 5-star Gulf Hotel.

Munir Mamujee presents the Gulf Hotel with a signed Wildcats shirt

m2r Managing Director, Munir Mamujee was visiting Bahrain on business and took with him a signed replica jersey donated by the club to present to Colin Marchington, Pub Manager of the Sherlock Holmes English Pub, an outlet in the 5-star Gulf Hotel complex, with the shirt now set to be seen by tourists from around the world. This is the first ever signed sports shirt to be presented to the hotel, one of m2r’s illustrious clients.

What’s more, the picture of the shirt presentation featured in the Gulf Daily News, one of the national newspapers of Bahrain meaning even greater exposure of the Wildcats brand to a completely new audience.

m2r were announced as the Wildcats Official Recruitment Partner just two months ago but have already proven their unrivalled expertise by helping to bring on board two new members of the Wildcats off-field staff.

The multi award winning international recruitment firm were responsible for helping to employ Club 1873 Membership Manager, Jonny Wootton and Creative Marketing Coordinator, Alex Beetenson as the Wildcats continue to make improvements off the field as well as on it.

Mamujee was pleased to already be playing such an active role in helping the Wildcats.

“My aim when we became official recruitment partner was to actively help the club find the best off field talent as well as helping the players when they come to retire. We are absolutely delighted with the results so far and I am glad that we have the contacts and relationships  to be able to take the name of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats into pastures new. It can only benefit Wakefield as a whole.”

Chief Executive, James Elston said he has been delighted with the early stages of the partnership with m2r Ltd and is certain it is one that will continue to flourish.

“We knew when we went into partnership with m2r Ltd. that we would be working with a pro-active organisation who would bring a lot to the club,” said Elston.

“Their work in helping us bring both Jonny and Alex to the club was excellent and has added another dimension to our off-field operations at what is a really busy and exciting time for the club on so many different fronts.

On the Wildcats shirt now hanging in the Sherlock Holmes hotel, Elston added: “The exposure Munir has helped the club gain is fantastic and with the number of people from different parts of the world that will see a Wildcats shirt is something that you can’t put a price on and we thank him greatly for that.”
