The Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have continued their off field recruitment drive with the appointment of two new members of staff.

The club have created a new sales team and further expanded the successful commercial department with two new recruits.

Becky Daley and Stephen Rigby have joined Commercial Sales Executive Steven Beeton and together, the three have formed the new Telesales Team, working closely beneath Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins. The team are focused on selling advertising, sponsorship and corporate hospitality.

Becky Daley has worked in various sales roles since leaving school in 2006 and Stephen Rigby joins the club after a successful career, spanning over eight years, in the advertising departments at the Wakefield Express and the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Both new recruits, who join Steven Beeton that has worked in the Wildcats Commercial Department for over six months now, have fully settled in during their first week at the club and are eager to be a part of the exciting future that lies ahead.

Commercial Manager Martin Hopkins is delighted to welcome new additions to his team, “The growth of commercial revenue is vital to our expansion and success as we move forwards to Newmarket and I’m pleased that we have added to the department.

“I’d like to welcome Becky and Stephen to the company and I look forward to seeing the team in action together, helping to continue our commercial success.”

The new sales team have been kitted out with the latest software thanks to Glow Computers in Wakefield. The used computer company have provided the club with four refurbished computers to keep the new sales team at the cutting edge of technology.
