SPONSORS GET CLOSER TO THE WILDCATS

posted on 23 January 2012

This Saturday morning saw the first sponsors event of 2012 take place at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

This years sponsors watched the boys train on Saturday and enjoyed a spot of breakfast with them after!

All sponsors and club partners, including Fleetmaster, Cadbury and MRF Engineering, were invited to the stadium to watch the first team conduct their morning training session out on the pitch, have their photos taken with the team and were then joined by the players and coaching staff themselves to enjoy breakfast together.

Wildcats Chairman Andrew Glover, Chief Execuive James Elston and Head Coach Richard Agar were all on hand to meet sponsors and make them feel at home. Sponsors had the chance to get to know their sponsored player and thoroughly enjoyed meeting the team in such a relaxed environment.

Despite the cold conditions, the full first team sported their new 2012 Home Kit and were photographed with all the sponsors, who will be receiving their very own photograph shortly.

Martin Hopkins, Wildcats Commercial Manager commented, “I was really pleased to see so many sponsors attend the event. Last year’s ‘Sponsors Morning’ was a great success and I was very happy to organise another this year.

“The morning not only gives extra value to our sponsors but it helps to encourage a feeling of togetherness throughout the Club and from the feedback that I have had so far, everyone had a fantastic time.

“Our sponsors play a vital part in the success of the club and I find it very important to ensure that they understand how much they mean to the club. We have various sponsorsorship and hospitality packages remaining for this season, so if anyone is interested in working with the club to help develop their business, please don’t hesitate to contact me on 01924 211611.

I’d like to thank everyone for coming on Saturday and I look forward to working together throughout the season.”

One attendee, Lee Birmingham, representative of Kraft Foods (Cadbury) told the Wildcats what a great idea the morning was, “It’s fantastic that myself and other sponsors were invited to such an exclusive event like this that allowed us to get to know the players and really feel a part of the club.

“I’d like to thank Martin and the team for a great morning and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead!”
